Biography of Tanmay Srivastava - India
- Nicknamed "Toshu", he began playing in the fifth standard and has represented Uttar Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy and India U/19s.
- Made his first-class debut for Uttar Pradesh against Rest of India in October 2006.
- Sealed the game for India U/19s with his magnificent ton (105 not out) against South Africa U/19s in the Triangular tournament in January 2008. In the next match against the same team he scored a half century and picked up three wickets to help his side win by six wickets.
- Blasted 105 runs complete with 14 fours and a six against Delhi while representing Uttar Pradesh in the Ranji Trophy 2007/08. Also scored 81 runs against Hyderabad in the same tournament.
- Captained India U/19s in the Tests against Sri Lanka and impressed with scores of 117 and 87 in August 2007.
- Reveres Rahul Dravid for his batting skills and his ability to lead from the front.
- If not a cricketer, he would like to be a social worker. He enjoys listening to music and surfing the Internet when not playing.
